Plans 2020
The plan, contingent on weather, has Denise departing on January 25th with a few horses, the main group of horses leaving by commercial shipper the 30th or 31st. Most horses will leave for home March 31st unless they are competing at Ocala International on April 10-12. Horses staying will be charged for the additional cost of the stalls at Marnick Farm. We will send another note in January with additional packing information and exact dates. We have included a list of prospective shows below for planning purposes. We will pick and choose from the list so check with Denise before sending in entries. See more info below.

Costs
Travel
We will arrange shipping - the cost is $1000 in each direction. When we know the exact cost and date, we will ask you to leave a check made out to the shipper.
Board
You will pay your regular board to Scarlet Hill plus a one time “Florida charge" to partially defray the cost of the stalls in Ocala and the higher cost of hay. This additional charge will be $550 per horse for the trip. It is due by January first to hold your place. This charge is refundable if your horse is unable to travel.
Training
All horses will be in training for the stay at $300 a week. Horses will be ridden or worked 5-6 days a week. If you are down for a portion of the trip, these will be lessons instead of training rides.
Other Costs
May include; offsite schooling fees, competition fees, shipping to shows, lessons with other instructors, human travel and accommodation. There is some very limited accommodation on site, we may have access to an additional apartment close by. Send us your dates if you want to know if the house will be available.
Professionals
We will ask you to send checks made out to the farrier in FL or we can send you a photo of the invoice and you can send your payment as you go. The horses will need a health certificate for interstate travel in both directions, we will arrange for this and you will be billed directly. Emergencies will be handled by Dr Gaby if he is in town or by a local vet we know.
